Best Laptops For College Students (Rs.18,000 to Rs.40,000)

I received too many emails, Facebook messages for writing a blog about laptops for the college student and as per my knowledge college student can only afford a budget laptop, so in this guide I will recommend some good laptops under budget, which a normal student can buy. These will be best in performance and low in price.

Personally I’m using dell inspiron 15 3521 as my daily use laptop, it’s also a good laptop but i wanna tell you some good and latest laptops in Rs.18,000 to 40,000. So below is the list choose one of them, also all are best at their levels don’t compare with the labeled numbers.

#1. Toshiba Satellite C50-A P0015 – Rs.24.249

This is a starter laptop from Toshiba, let me first clear you that Toshiba is a branded and trusted company even they have sachin tendulkar as a brand ambassador. Ok now let’s come to the features.

Toshiba Satellite C665-P5010 is priced at  Rs 24,249. It has 15.6 inch LED backlit display, 500GB hard disk, 2GB ram and 2.42 GHz processor. For connectivity Toshiba has given Face recognition feature, Bluetooth, WiFi, 2 USB 2.0 ports and multimedia card reader.

#2. HP 15-r119TU – Rs.23,900


Hp 15-d010TU is a 4th generation laptop powered by the 2.66 intel  quad core processor. It has 4GB ram, 500GB hard disk, 15.6 inches screen. The price of this long named laptop is Rs. 23,900 (on snapdeal).

It has a intel HD graphics and a four cell battery.

#3. Dell-Inspiron 15 3521 – Rs.24,500


Dell inspiron 15R runs on windows 8 and powered by the 1.8 GHz intel i3 processor. It has 4GB ram, 500GB inbuilt memory. The screen size of this laptop is 15.6 inches and you can buy this from the online dell store, if it’s not available in your city.

When i was thinking to buy a laptop, this was my first choice, With its class-leading performance and admirable feature set, the Lenovo flex 10 is an excellent value with an affordable price tag that gives users plenty of bang for their buck.

It has 10.1” inch screen, PC combines top notch essentials – such as cutting-edge 1.4Ghz intel celron processor, 500GB Harddisk, 2GB RAM . The price of lenovo ideapad is Rs.21,900.

#5. Chromebooks


These are cheap, lightweight and budgets chromebooks. Its 2014, now laptops are becoming outdated, so I thinked of writing an article about chromebooks, now for non-techies let me explain what are chromebooks? okay so the chromebooks are lightweight, cheap and thin devices looks same as a laptop but are totally different in configuration and software.     Considering that the first laptop is Toshiba as per your recomendation. Can you share it with me if its spare parts are readily available in ur country.
    This am asking, becoz in kenya, Toshiba doesnt have spare parts, that means that most vendors doesnt stock it, since they dont quarantee warranty, making it be sold mostly in downtown streets shops, where there is no warranty….
